A new album ! What a wonderful thing ! Your voice is one of the most beautiful I've ever heard. And I reallly enjoy your songs - Mr Mister period, your solo albums and 3rd Matinee...

Do you think you'll be touring in Europe, and especially in my country (France) ?

Richard, great to hear that your are back. We missed you. Believe me - your songs have touched a lot of people here in Germany - still do. POWER OVER ME and IF ALL ELSE FAILS are two of the reasons my best friend started his career as a fulltime songwriting and producer. Hope to have you visit us here for some live shows. Can´t wait for the new record to come out...and get SongBMG to give you the PULL masters back - would love to see that being released properly. You still have one of the greatest voices out there. Good to have you back. Henning

Just caught the Ringo All Star show in Boston tonight- what a great show!!! Not many times when the limo driver also has to serve as an escort for a client. But, we aim to please. It was great to see these all guys have a turn to play some of their hits. I saw Richard with MM back in 86 or so at Great Woods and he sounded even better now. I wonder if Richard will tour on his own sometime in the future?? Have a great summer tour guys-

Five sting bass?? I think so-

Just saw Richard in Bethel Woods, what a surprise to hear the voice sound even stronger then 20 years ago. It was the most exciting and invigorating moment for me to finally hear you live. Thank you for going on tour and providing that opportunity. I also got the CD! :)

Hi Richard:

Just saw you with the Ringo Starr All-Starr Band at Fallsview Casino on June 25th...What a show! I loved every minute of it and really enjoyed your solos. Totally got lost in your music; a good thing! This is the 4th All-Starr Band I've seen...obviously a fan. Have a great tour.

Dear Richard. "Shelter Me" is one of my all-time favourite 5 albums, and I actually cried with joy when I read about your new album coming out. It's way overdue, but nevertheless I guess it's never too late for really good things to happen. I will be waiting in anticipation for the album to arrive, and I'm going to make the first listen a sacred experience. For the both of us, I hope. ;-)
Have a great summer, and all the best for the future!

PS. I downloaded Aja's EP from iTunes just a few minutes ago. I know I'll enjoy that as well! Say hi to her from me, will you? :-)

Hello Richard,
My goodness, I am so excited for the new music. I discovered the new Christmas single last year and check all the time for any forthcoming projects. To get a whole albums' worth is a blessing. I cannot wait to hear it. I know the term album dates me a bit, so I'll say... I first saw you in 1985 on the WTTRW Tour... You played the whole album except for "Don't Slow Down". And as I remember, closed out the show with Purple Haze and my ears rang for a week!! You can count me amongst those who thought Go On was a masterpiece and it has been on my iPod for as long as I've had one. I remember at the show in '85, you played Watching the World and Something Real which were unheard of at the time. And slap my hand, but I am also amongst those who have sought out "Pull" in the gray areas of cyberspace. Which is a challenge for me cause I'm not a bootleg enthusiast or even a very crafted computer geek. Actually kind of found it by accident. I certainly hope you can find a way to give it a proper release, even if only in a decent digital format, that it deserved. I think it is a brilliant album as well. I love Like Rain Falling especially.

Anyways, congratulations on the new CD. I am hoping we can catch you on the Ringo Tour in Cincinnati. About 90 minutes from here. Best of luck...

Looking forward to seeing you guys in Cleveland, although, I'm from Charlotte NC!! Can't wait for your new album. I've been a fan of yours since I first heard "Clearly Kim" in 78 or 79. You and Steve George did some nice work, love his Mini-Moog lines. My 3 Pages albums were lost through the years and my many moves, but I've replaced them many years ago, too, when the cd's were imports. I'm far from gay, lol, but you are my favorite singer, ever . . . can't wait to hear you live and in person! Of course we all love Ringo and for you to be in the All Star band this year, is genius on his part! The best to you!

I've been a big fan of your music for many years. Would love to see you get the Mr. Mister PULL material formally released. I have the tunes but they are in mono and would sound so much better if remixed and released. Great material that needs to be out there for others to hear.

Dear Richard,

Just to wish you the very best as you embark on the Tour with the All Starr Band and also advance congratulations for the runaway success that your new album will certainly be.

I was watching you and Mr Mister today on a live YouTube Video for' Dust' from 1988 and also listening to the 'Go On' Album this afternoon while I was in the car waiting for my wife. Back then was such a very special time. I managed, after may yaers of searching and struggling, to get a copy of 'Pull' last year and it was so wonderful too. 'We Belong To No One' is such a spectacular song, as are all the songs on that record. A treasure to listen to. You never fail to surprise with your maturity of songwriting and the quality your work. You are so incredibly talented and I have been a 'hooked' fan since I was 16, that was way back in 1985. Music comes and music goes but your voice is certainly the most uplifting and emotive I have ever heard.

Yesterday, in Church, a 91 year old Lady in recited a beautiful Poem from memory about using your God-given 'Talent' to the very utmost - every time I listen to your work, I am reminded of the reality and the outworking of that truth. Thank you for all these years of great pleasure and sheer joy I have felt listening to your music. God Bless you.

With warm regards and best wishes,

Tony Hamilton, Belfast, Northern Ireland.

‘I Always Cry At Christmas’ was released 2 months after my mom passed away. It was the ONLY song that pulled me back into the magic of Christmas, which seemed impossible that year. I think of that tune as a gift from the universe because the timing was absolutely impeccable.

It appears that mainstream music has lost that genuine connection to the spirituality of the pure human voice. Your music continues to bond the very essence of the heart and soul. For that I am truly grateful. I’m frustrated and exhausted from listening to all the processed sounds on the airwaves these days.

I’ve been following your music since (well, for a long time) and every song has a great deal of insight. Thank you once again for staying true to yourself and allowing us to follow you on your journey.

Really looking forward to hear your new music Richard. It will be so great to hear your voice with new fresh material from your pen. I know that their are many fans who longing for a cd release of the Pull album. I have been listen to the non official mp3's in mono from time to time and they are so great. I got a great feeling when I saw the front sleeve here but then I saw the mark "unreleased" and it made me disappointed. Will it ever be an official release in stereo of the Pull album?? I hope so...
