Just to wish you the very best as you embark on the Tour with the All Starr Band and also advance congratulations for the runaway success that your new album will certainly be.
I was watching you and Mr Mister today on a live YouTube Video for' Dust' from 1988 and also listening to the 'Go On' Album this afternoon while I was in the car waiting for my wife. Back then was such a very special time. I managed, after may yaers of searching and struggling, to get a copy of 'Pull' last year and it was so wonderful too. 'We Belong To No One' is such a spectacular song, as are all the songs on that record. A treasure to listen to. You never fail to surprise with your maturity of songwriting and the quality your work. You are so incredibly talented and I have been a 'hooked' fan since I was 16, that was way back in 1985. Music comes and music goes but your voice is certainly the most uplifting and emotive I have ever heard.
Yesterday, in Church, a 91 year old Lady in recited a beautiful Poem from memory about using your God-given 'Talent' to the very utmost - every time I listen to your work, I am reminded of the reality and the outworking of that truth. Thank you for all these years of great pleasure and sheer joy I have felt listening to your music. God Bless you.
With warm regards and best wishes,

Hi Richard,I'm so happy you have a new website to be able to communicate with your fans, and I'm ECSTATIC that you will be releasing a new album and that I will be SEEING you live with the Ringo Starr band! Your music has been so important to me, your songwriting is second to none. I feel like you are a very dear friend that has been with me for the last 25 years, and I'm glad to be able to finally communicate with you, and let you know all these feelings I have for your incredible music and words. Using one of your albums, GO ON!!! my friend!!
I am so looking forward to your new album! The world need your great music, keep putting your stuff out there :)
‘I Always Cry At Christmas’ was released 2 months after my mom passed away. It was the ONLY song that pulled me back into the magic of Christmas, which seemed impossible that year. I think of that tune as a gift from the universe because the timing was absolutely impeccable.
It appears that mainstream music has lost that genuine connection to the spirituality of the pure human voice. Your music continues to bond the very essence of the heart and soul. For that I am truly grateful. I’m frustrated and exhausted from listening to all the processed sounds on the airwaves these days.
I’ve been following your music since (well, for a long time) and every song has a great deal of insight. Thank you once again for staying true to yourself and allowing us to follow you on your journey.
I am a huge fan ... miss your amazing music with all the dribble thats on the radio now days, My cousin Mike Roe who i think you and Steve George remember says hi so cant wait for new release. God bless you and your family peace out
I haven't been to this place for some time and I'm thrilled to see this new website! Thanks so much for your wonderful music which is so important in my life...so uplifting and inspiring, simply awesome...I'm from Poland and my personal dream is to be able to see you on tour somewhere in Europe, that would be an unforgettable experience! You've got some true fans over here as well...
God bless You,Sonia (Poland)
Thanks Richard !! Looking forward to the new album. Hope it does not take long till the next album
Great to see the new website, just as wonderful to hear that you will release a new album. I've posted a blog on my side about this, good luck!
All the best!
Really looking forward to hear your new music Richard. It will be so great to hear your voice with new fresh material from your pen. I know that their are many fans who longing for a cd release of the Pull album. I have been listen to the non official mp3's in mono from time to time and they are so great. I got a great feeling when I saw the front sleeve here but then I saw the mark "unreleased" and it made me disappointed. Will it ever be an official release in stereo of the Pull album?? I hope so...
Rich and Rob , The new site looks great . I eagerly await the new music. Stay well . Russ
Richard, your music has been a soundtrack through most of my life. One of my top 5 concerts was seeing Mr. Mister -1986 - outside one summer evening at Milwaukee's Summerfest. Now my children listen to Shelter Me, Pages and Mr. Mister on their ipods. Hope to catch the 'all starrs' and hope that you enjoy the tour... can't wait for the new album. Great website! Will be fun to follow your adventures. John Nelson. Janesville, WI
I stumbled across your site while performing one of my frequent searches for your music. "Shelter Me" is one of my all-time favourite albums, and I've collected music by Third Matinee, Pages and any song recorded that you have sung or written. Your music truly touches me, the lyrics speak to my soul, and your songs have been with me through some of the most poignant moments of my life. "I Always Cry at Christmas" was a true gift, and to have the new album - I'm over the moon. So glad that you co-wrote with Richard Marx, one of my other favourite artists.
Welcome back - please stay for a while.
Wishing you joy and laughter in your Simple Life.

Rob and Richard,
Great to see the new website up and running and looking forward to some new tunes ... amazing how time flies and we need a Page fix ... looking forward to the Ringo tour!!
Richard, Welcome back, from those of us who have missed you in the public eye. I'm just a few years younger than you. My, how the years do fly by. You truly do have a God given talent. You have a special vocal ability to keep the same song sounding fresh and beautiful each and every time. Going to try to make it to the show in Cincinnati. I've never seen a Beatle, or you, in person before. I should make that part of my "bucket list". Safe travels during the tour!Barb
I thought the time would never come, I grew up to the Mr. Mister music, listening to Broken Wings when I was only 11 years old. The video itself I only saw a few times in MTV, was ingrained in my soul. Somehow many years later I became very dependent and infatuated with the songs from Mr. Mister. I must have listed to them so many times im embarrassed to even say. When i found live concert footage from the Ritz and Daytona concerts they truly blew me away. Over the years I realized the supreme technical prowess of your voice, the uplifting lyrics, and really began to appreciate singing.
Anyway, I longed many years for seeing a live performance by you, and now I am lucky to have in my possession 3 tickets to your Bethel Woods performance on June 26th. My wife, 12 year old son and myself will be privileged to finally hear your voice live, as well as the other incredible Starr's :). Looking forward to this, thank you for forming the website!
Good afternoon, Richard.
Let me start by saying that I have been a fan since the mid 90's when I first heard the 3rd Matinee album. Aboslutely amazing compilation that contains among my all time favorite songs (including All the way home and Freedom Road). Shelter me was equally amazing. For me, there is no greater a reminder to my wife than "Best Thing". In any event, you have given me (as I'm certain you've given so many countless others) unforgettable music to take through life. Truly helps in good times and bad. Equally, I drive my wife and boys completely insane by playing your songs over and over... (but believe me they are fans as well). Our youngest, Jack (18 mos), asks me every night in his own way to put him to sleep with "I always cry" -never gets old even to hum to him in the spring & summer months. For all of this, many, many thanks!
I wanted to take the time to write the above but also had a question. I don't really expect an answer (given your schedule) but thought I'd give it a shot anyway. Did you happen to ever produce (for consumer purchase) sheet music for I Awlays Cry and , if so, through which company can I possibly buy a copy?
Thanks so much again Richard and please keep writing.
All the very best,Rick S., (of Philadelphia)
